Reflections upon the Convertible

The most classic cars sweep their drivers stylishly and swiftly down highways and boulevards,

drawing gazes and dropping jaws.

Classics perform well, not perfectly,

with dependable charsma and enduring joy

for those fortunate to interact with it.

In time, these classics are no longer what they were.

Needed parts cannot be found,

and thier performances don't meet ever increasing standards.

Over time, these models are avaliable to a select few,

and are used for increasingly specialized purposes.

In time, drivers must shift to a new vehical to keep functioning.

The key is to recognize when change is needed,
and to find a model worthy of replacing the old one.

untitled

Over and under
and sideways and trough

Debris and diversions
I race toward You.

Such importance,
a thing
so slender and slight

So many risk all
to see you tonight.

Your guardian rides with the Furies in tow,
unleashing their wrath
on his every foe.

Downcast, the fallen
from flaming depths scream

Of unrequited desire
to reach whom they seek.

Such importance you have,
for all's fate it seems...

Thank God for those womprats
and my old T-16.

for sooth

i doth

fear the

loss of

dead dialects'

meaning upon

mine ears.

Sorry Will,
but You got lost in translation,
to the vexation of english students
world round
who bend over backwards,
sifting through
the lines of tiny text,
checking and crosschecking vocabulary
to finish their homework.

I imagine, that it's hard to rest
when your ears burn with the curses
of teenagers struggling to translate your works.

Dude.
Suck.
FaSho.
Late Shakes.
